Our manufacturing process

As the key to success, LANIK relies on the very best in quality raw materials.  By eliminating the natural imperfections of 32 mm. veneers cut from Norway spruce timber and applying a continuous press to the veneers laid up on each other, the product is a prefabricated wood beam with whose only limit is the ability to handle it.

Résistance exceptionnelle au Feu
Sous l’action du feu, il se produit sur la superficie du bois une carbonisation qui réagit comme un isolant empêchant de la sorte que la voracité du feu se prolonge vers l’intérieur du bois. De cette manière les propriétés mécaniques du noyau de la pièce en bois restent intactes, permettant ainsi de maintenir la stabilité de la structure plus longtemps qu’avec d’autres types de matériaux.
